Need some accessory help, please!

Need some accessory help, please!

I'm so bad with this stuff.

This is my dress: (Its all crystal beading - no pearls) The veil and headpiece will be exactly as pictured.

What do I do for jewelry? Can I wear a necklace with this? I have a diamond solitaire that my parents bought me for my high school graduation - its special to me, and if it doesn't look silly, I'd like to wear it.

Ok, and earrings....I never wear big earrings - I usually just wear my plain diamond studs everyday. My hair will be down and wavy, and LONGER than pictured, and I'm keeping my veil on all night. Should I do a bigger earring, or stick to the studs?

I can't wear any jewelry that isn't real gold or platinum-I break out in hives from silver and other metals, so this may be a difficult search!

My dress is 3/4 sleeves - do I wear a bracelet?

I'm no good at this girl stuff!!!

Half up, wavy, longer than the picture above.

The same amount of ear will be exposed as the pic above.

somehow i missed that part in your original post.

I like that necklace, but I could see maybe a teardrop type necklace more. as for earrings i'd go with not too long danglings ones. I'll look for a pic.

I think that necklace would look very nice. Especially if it hits you on your colarbone.

I think small chandelier-styled earrings would look nice-- either diamonds (drop hints to your FH-- haha) or CZ. I like these earrings and am thinking about getting them for my BMs: http://www.lordandtaylor.com/gifts/OnlineShopping/LT?DSP=4&PCR=21:200000:200084:200295:200830&IID=2000909&c=1
I think it'll also go well with the necklace!

I don't think a bracelet is necessary with the 3/4 sleeve, but maybe for your something old/borrowed someone can give/lend it to you!

Good luck!

Nic!! I was just about to say.......because of all the sparkles on the top...you don't want too much more. I was going to say...if you do want something around your neck....a solitaire would be perfect. So I say either that solitaire from your parents, or nothing. As for earrings...because your hair will be half and half...and you are keeping the veil on all night....you already will have a lot of stuff around your face. Don't add, it would look 'gaudy' for lack of better words. Stick with round solitaire studs to match the necklace

Nic... I would wear the necklace and the studs.. you don't want too much on top bc you have so much beadwork and bling on top.. and then you have the sleeves as well..

yay! I guess I wasn't too far off - that's what I wanted to do!

Its our family tradition for the groom to buy the bride a piece of jewelry to wear on the wedding day....hmmm.....what to wear?!? I guess it would have to be a bracelet, right?

my sister picked this dress off the rack for me - and now she calls it the 'blingin' boobies dress'

Blinging Boobies!

I just got a visual of Dumb and Dumber when he is envisioning Laren Holly taken off her top and when he gets to her boobs they are headlights(he's really driving into a semi truck!!)

Unless you want new studs! I think a bracelet would be nice also if you stick with the simplicity of the studs and the solitare necklace.
