I have a dilemma that may cause conflict with my future MIL and i just wanted to know what other people think or have done in the same situation. My two little cousins are my flower girls, age 3 and 7, and my aunt and uncle are not involved in the wedding party. My problem is the rehearsal dinner (which my MIL is paying for), because my little cousins have to be with their parents. What do people normally do in this situation, I would assume you have to invite the parents to the rehearsal dinner, don't you?

Re: Need some advice
Yeah, I can't imagine the children being there without the parents, even if the 'rents aren't in the party. On the other hand, they might welcome the night to themselves and be happy to hand the children over for a few hours.
ETA: I'd invite the parents.

yes... invite the parents...
I also invited siblings of my Jr. Bridesmaid... They are close in age and I didn't want the sibling to get jealous.
