Ok. So as you may know, I just started looking. I realized when I went to my first few places that if I had ONLY known what others had paid (or were going to pay), then I'd be better able to gauge how I could do my 'operating.'
I have a grasp on the whole Jericho Terrace (thanks to MsKitty and stevejamik - right?) and I know what I am going in there saying.
I am also looking at Russo's (but my cousin is helping me there - however, if there ARE any of you, her price was way crazy and I need some more).
I'm going to Crest Hollow CC.
I'm going to Floral Terrace
I'm going to Leonard's
I'm going to SandCastle
I'm going all this weekend. SO, I'd appreciate it SOOOO much if anyone who has gotten quotes or is going with any of those places could share any tips, prices, etc.
Here are my particulars: We are looking from 11/05 thru 3/06. We are looking at either an afternoon, night. No Friday. Saturday or possibly a Sunday. Would do a holiday weekend, etc. Def. want chair covers for any place. Need good seafood. Need excellent italian. Need good affiliations with hotels.
HELP!!! TIA!!!! I appreciate it! FM me if you don't want to post. Thanks!
(these are fun!)

Re: Need some ammunition! Come Help me!
We are having our reception at Floral Terrace 3/31/06...I can't rave about the place anymore...I know that we got good pricing but we are getting married on a Friday night....I remember them telling us a Sunday is lower...What type of minimum are you looking for?? FT has great food...We did a tasting before we booked...Chair covers are available upon request & a nominal fee of I believe $5 a chair(i may be wrong)...I know their dates were booking up & believe that all dates for 2005 are booked, so if you like the place jump on it for 06!
Key things I love at FT...There is only 1 wedding at time, which was a big PLUS for me! The dance floor is one that I have never seen before...Each stage of your reception/ceremony is on a different floor...If you have a big BP, the suite is amazing! FM me if you need more information..
Happy Hunting

You should be able to get a bunch of extras from what you mentioned at Leonard's for the $80 range.

Hey, I haven't booked my hall yet, but I am having an engagement party in May at the SandCastle. The party is on a Sat. night and we're paying $95 pp (tax/gratuity included). We also have chair covers which they threw in/ ice sculptures/second servings. We have an open bar/ the full viennese table/hour. The e-party is 6hours long and basically is going to turn out to be a mini-wedding.
Word of advice...it's like buying a car, don't jump up and down anywhere you go. Ask a lot of questions and sound very hesitant (that's when they start thowing in the good stuff..lol) HTH. Tell me how it turns out.
