i know this is nothing really to get upset about... but i just had a day from hell..
i just paid off a good chunk of my credit card.. able to put some money away for the wedding. then i get a call from my FH that my neighbor has a leak from my apartment to make a long story short. i got bathfitter a few months ago. My development's maintenance dept came, but my neighbor wasn't home. they said most likely something bathfitter did.. called bathfitter, said most likely if anything was going to go wrong it would happen within a few days. they are both coming early tomorrow.. i had to take a vacation day. so now i have to worry about damage to my apartment and my neighbor!! i do have a lifetime warranty with bathfitter.. but i heard i would have to lay it out then settle it with them. ugh
i know there are worst things in the world ..but just when you think you are getting ahead.. i don't want to take a shower cos i don't want to make the damage to her apartment worse.
sorry .. just needed to vent.. hope it all works out tomorrow morning..

Re: Need some cheering up
we had alot of problems with bathfitter.....when we had it done they didnt have a real plumber come in just the tech and he never shut off the main water supply to the house ....he flooded my entire first floor and destroyed all the wood floors.....brand new cabinets etc....HOWEVER heres the cheer you up part.....they were very quick and eager to pay for the damage etc...no fighting no laying money out first

Re: Need some cheering up
i do have emergency funds..
see i booked Bathfitter confident that they knew what they were doing. My FMIL had bathfitter in 2 apartments that she owns with no problems. also, i was sold on the Lifetime warranty. i'm more concerned about the damage to my neighbor's apartment. i haven't seen it yet. my FH said its the kitchen wall..
ugh.. i just rather ge spending my energy & time on my wedding

I have an appt. with both bathfitter and maintenance at 8:00 AM... the woman i dealt with said i won't be liable. but she was positive it was nothing that they did.... yeah right.
