i really hate the whole idea of the big grand entrance into the reception after the cocktail hour since FH and i will be at the whole CH. I think FH really likes the idea but i really hate it so i want to come up with a clever new idea for a not so grand entrance! please help this on the shy side bride!!!

I am sorry I cannot help you, I have dreamt about that grand entrance as long as I knew what it was. I wish there was something even more grand that I could come up with
Just try and enjoy it. Remember that everyone IS there for you and want to see you so try and just go with it and have fun

I agree, i think you should just go for it! Pick your favorite song that will pump you up and have a blast! Its over pretty quick and then you'll have your first dance, another awesome moment!

oh god its so not me!!!!!!! i plan on making my CH very personal by visiting every guest! and just making a small entrence! i just think that whole grand sha-bang is silly! but thats JMO to suck it up.. id be sucking up the chunks!!!

I don't know if this is cheesy but maybe while you're sitting at your table, the DJ can flash a spotlight on you and your FH and introduce you that way?

maybe u, your parents, and your bridal party can all be introduced at once so the spot light is not all on you but everyone.. unless u have a very big bridal party where itll be like a hmm how do u say.. is it 'storm peed (??) '

Meg - the best thing that I could come up with without layering on the cheese would be for everyone to come into the ballroom and you 2 go to the dance floor and the DJ can just dim the lights or whatever and say - now for their first dance welcome mr and mrs.........

I think you should just suck it up too, it'll be maybe a minute of being uncomfortable but it'll be a memory that your FH will remember for years. I know it's just an entrance but the entrance is usually a picture that makes it into the wedding album
