I'm trying to figure out what I what, but I feel so overwhelmed that I don't even know where to start. My theme color is purple, and I know that lavender and lilacs are not in season in early July. I can't use roses because my FMIL is allergic. The flowers don't have to be all purple. All I know is that I like things simple and that I want low centerpieces for the reception.
Any suggestions, pictures and link of flowers that are available in early July would be much appriciated.

your best bet is to look through magazines and see if theres anything you like. also, visit florists...they can give u a better idea of what you want.

When I went to check out a florist, she showed me a beautiful sample bouquet with purple hydrangeas in it (surrounding white flowers, I think). I had never considered purple as one of my colors, but this bouquet almost changed my mind.
My florist was going to do a beautiful cascading bo-k in purple orchids. It was very nice.. but I wanted pink. My wedding was also in July so you could do that
