need some good irish bars in city for St. Patrick's Day

My friend and I are going to relive our 20's and go out for St. Patricks Day into the city.. It was a tradition for us up until a couple of years ago when we both started to settle down. Well were back!!!!! I know there is a TON of irish bars and have been to many of them but I forgot the names... brain freeze

I dont want to go to Mc Sorleys b.c it will be packed and Ive been to Turtlle Bay/Sutton Place...

anyone recommend some good irish bars for that day... please give me location as well....

Every bar in the city will be packed on that day.

Ill be at Sutton Place after 7pm DJing. They have another DJ there working the day shift.

If you log onto the webiste www.murphguide.com and scroll down to March 17th they list all a lot of Irish bars and the bands that are playing at them. I always look on this site if I am looking for a night out in the city, especially St. Patty's Day!

How about Connolly's on 47th Street or The Joshua Tree on 3rd AVe and 30 something street, Paddy Reilly's on 29th Street. You could do other searches on line and will find locations of lots of great bars on St. Patty's day. Hope to find some myself.

I myself am deciding whether to worok that day and take that Friday off instead, I think I will need that more!

believe me rich, I know every bar will be packed- i was a st paddys day regular in my day.. the last time I went, I walked into turtle bay at 1 p.m. and came out at 12 a.m. not a pretty sight at 12 a.m. if im around that area and coherent, ill stop by to visit you!!

The Irish pub on 7th and I think it is 54th??? OMG I went there a few years in a row and then became a regular there! My moh and I would go in from Suffolk t ohang out there.
