With finding a close place to my house to get ready ... My house is wY to small and nobody will fit and I'm getting married in babylon would anybody know of a really nice place close to Babylon?

do you have a hotel block yet? I'm getting ready at the hotel where we blocked off our rooms.

Wish I could help but I don't know LI like that so don't know whats around But I plan to do the same as the bride said above. I'm not so sure about hotel blocks because I won't really have OOT guests but as the wedding gets a little closer i'm going to see if anyone will want to crash somewhere close buy after the wedding. If enough people tell me yes i'm going to do a hotel block. If not I still plan to get a room in a nearby hotel to get ready and for the wedding night.

I am also staying at a hotel for 2 nights. My FH and I live together, so he's going to get ready from here... I like the hotel idea, i'm hoping to get a suite. I'll have the hair and make up girl come to the hotel .. is that what you mean?? If so, I live in W. Islip..I'll try to think of places for you to look!

Okay here is my problem i would LOVE to get ready near westbury around there but the problem is that my the church is in babylon and when i want to a limp place today they told me i need two limos and we want to try and save money not throw it away ...so now i might have to get ready in a hotel near my house and then after the wedding i would go to a hotel near westbury but now here is another problem all my of stuff and BM who get ready there too ..all of our stuff is going to be that the hotel and i dunno what to do with it ...i never though it was going to be a problem and it is ...and im not happy about it at all

My sister got married in Sayville and stayed in Islandia in a hotel and then her RH was the same as yours, Westbury Manor. She only had one limo which picked up both the guys, then dropped them off, then got the girls. Why are they saying you need two? Did you think about maybe staying somewhere in the middle?
I will say she didn't have much time for pictures since it was such a long drive and we missed the entire CH for pics which were all inside by then because it was late Oct and was dark by the time we got to the RH,.

Yea i was thinking about that ...but here is another problem FH is getting ready at his house in bethpage ..so the every limo place that we want to is saying the samething for me to get ready by my house ...but i have no idea what to do that this point really .im getting mad and whats going to happen when i have to leave the hotel and i will have my stuff there ...thats another problem

I understand it gets frustrating to think about all the details... I'm having issues w/ limo and picture times etc. b/c we are not seeing each other before the ceremony.
My advise for now, is to wait it out a little. If you are getting married in 2013 you have time to decide and really think everything through. Come up with a few different scenerios and review with your FH and pick whatever works best for the two of YOU, not everyone else (including your bridal party). They can always bring their bags in the limo (I just did that for a wedding I was in).
Also, check with a few limo companies when you are ready, b/c there is no reason you need 2 limos. Find a company that puts you at ease with everything.

THats a joke......my house cant even fit 4 people can u see having 10 people at my house its really so small plus have a dog and his fur will be all over the place too.....my cousins lives in riverhead and i really dont have family that lives by me...i dunno about a friends house b/c all the them live so far away two ( all of them are married) so i really dont want to do that ...but i would have to get ready by my house for us not to have two limos ...these limo company all are giving me a bad taste in my month and i hate it ....i just dont understand them b/c thats means all my BM stuff and mine have to go in the limo ...and i dont want to do that
