Need some help ladies

So tomorrow I'm being called in for a 'meeting' with my Manager's Manager....OK so I know my company is laying off a lot of people & I know I will be one of them Talk about bad timing, FH & I have a wedding to plan & our lease is coming up for renewal, we want to rent until after we get married.

Ladies if anybody knows of anywhere that is hiring please, please, please FM me. You guys have been so helpful with everything, I figured I'd ask you guys for any information you may have.

I am SO sorry to hear about your job. I can really relate. These times are horrible. I can't believe how it is effecting so many LIers. I hope everything works out for you. Good luck on the search. Its tough out here.

I'm sorry to hear this! Just keep your eyes glued to Monster and all the other job websites and don't be afraid to look at jobs that aren't specifically what you were just doing, but you think you're qualified for. Widening your range will give you more options. And keep the faith, things will get better!

OK ladies so I just got back from the 'meeting' and 18 people got layed off including myself, some were surprised b/c they didn't know what was 'really' going on

Anyway thanks to all of you ladies for your kind words, I really appreicate it

I'm in banking now (or was) but, I can't afford to be picky so anything you ladies know of ...please let me know.

im so sorry

i dont really know of anything right now bc i work in a school--so im kinda in the same boat--i have a job now but come june nothing..

have you thought of taking on maybe a part time job until you find another full time one?
