you can have all that stuff if you want. it depends what kind of party you want to have.

you can have seating arrangements or people can just sit where they want. if it is a fancy place, i would suggest some kind of centerpiece. and you can give out favors as a thank you. s far as registering, you can do that right online if you have no time to go to the store!

oh and by they way, welcome to LIW and congrats!!!

FM me if you need any more help!!!

First, welcome and congrats!

Its great that they want to throw you a party...you want autumn type go to the arts and crafts stores and pick up different accessories. Invitations you can always buy right off the rack at wal mart or even michaels (not sure) and just fill them in.

Centerpeices you can do the fall foliage that you can get by the foot in arts and crafts stores and decorate the tables with that. DJ you dont necessarily need, but may want to get. If you are just doing a short party ie. dinner, etc. I dont see a reason to have a DJ...but its what you want!

You can have it all just figure out what you want to do! Good Luck!

I had a very simple engagement party. No DJ, no centerpieces or favors. We were just there to celebrate our engagement.

My sister made a mix on her ipod, but you couldn't even hear it because it was so loud in there- no one missed the music. On the tables we had candles- we went with the Christmas theme since the party was in January and we are getting married in December.

Don't make yourself crazy, especially since it's only a month away. Just get a super cute dress!

Good luck!
