No, they're not. There are quite a number of deodorants that are not anti-perspirants.

and anti-perspirants that don't deodorize. some people have a chronic sweating problem and they use a special anit-perspirant ( i had a friend who used it years ago) because she just sweat ALL the time whiledoing nothing under her arms.
