need some help with finding a place to get the FILs gift...

i need a nice restaurant for 2 people to go out to eat that i can get a GC for. something 'on the island' is preferable so i can actually go get the item. they live in 'east nassau' and i'd like it to be an easy drive for them...not a trek as it will be a gift.

Cheesecake Factory? I know its maybe not considered fancy, I don't know if thats what you're looking for, but everyone seems to love it. I got my parents a GC there for their anniversary, and they loved it!

cool..i gotta run some stuff by FH and see what he thinks....he's sucha procrastinator and i know that if i don't just do it, it won't get done.

Teller' s in Bayshore is really nice, but pricey.

If they are in east nassau & do not mind driving to western suffolk, I'd recommend Peter's on Main St. (next to the Post Office Cafe). They have a phenomenal menu & a great intimate atmosphere.
