hi girls.. ok heres the assignment.. i need to type up one page on some other culture and their beliefs on health care... i need to know some of their beliefs, values, spirituality, how they view heatlh care, do they believe in westen meds, any food restrictions,
so instead of getting it from the internet i figured why not get it right from the 'horses mouth' and talk to someone who lives it.. so if anyone can help me please FM me!! thanks !!

i am not stating this to offend anyone- please dont take it that way...
but I believe the Indian culture is very different- I could be wrong though. Cause a little boy in the class I am observing is Indian and he cant eat certain foods and they dont give him mediciation for his disability cause they are against it...
just to put it out there that I believe that is one specific culture...but then again I could be wrong

Depending on if it is culture or religion, you could talk about certain Eastern countries where women can only be treated by women and since there is such a lack of female health practitioners, women tend to get sub-par health care.
Also, I believe it is Scientology that doesn't believe in taking western medicine (i.e.: Tom Cruise on the Brooke Shields anti-depressants)

ok so i finished my paper and well its so cool to learn about other cultures.. anyway.. the teacher never gave us like requirements on how long or any of that stuff just answer the questions. 'like a page' she said.. well mine is 3 pages.. and well i cant narrow it down theres alot of info... would any of my lovely teacher brides want to help me in reading and making sure i answered all the ?'s... (im kissing up)
