Need some help...Ear Infection

I think I have an ear infection in both ears. I don't want to go to the doctor unless I absolutely have to. I have never had one before. Anyone know any home remedies for this?

there are none...it's an infection and if it goes too deep or too long untreated you could lose your hearing. Go to the dr, they'll put you on an antibiotic like amoxicillin

Oh perfect, I have amoxicillian here. The doctor gave it to me last week for congestion, but I never took it. I guess I will follow the prescription and take it ALL!!!

Ear infections are one thing you don't want to play around with...

Yeah, seriously, go to the doctor. My mother used to try a home remedy of putting peroxide in the ear and then a cottonball....I really don't think it ever helped. In fact, I think it made it worse!

Trust me, go to the doctor. I ended up with an ear infection a few weeks ago and because I didn't have drops right away, I ended up in the ER because I was in such horrible pain. I didn't sleep for almost a week because of the pain. I would not mess around with your ears.
