Need some help...Skin question

Need some help...Skin question

I have kind of sensitive skin. Luckily, my face is clear, but I have been breaking out on my chest. I am worried because I have a strapeless dress, and I know when it starts to get really close to the wedding date, I will probably breakout more from stress. Are there any products you could recommend that I should start using? And, Do you think maybe a body scrub at a spa would help? I want to try to prevent it from coming back.

I have this problem also. But I have it on my face and back as well. I have a strapless dress too. I tried the retinaA micro, but wow does that dry out your skin. It seemed to work better on my chest and back than on my face, but you have to be careful when you go in the sun.

I am going to try proactiv. I've heard very good things about it. I have the phone number and all the information at home for it if you are interested.

When I work out and sweat a lot, I tend you get little red pimples around my chest too. I use Neutrogena body wash and it works really well.

I would go to a dermatologist if you really want to clear it up. Many good products you can only get with a prescription.

I have the sam problem too. I am getting married in July and I am very much aware of my skin. I clean my chest area every night with a gentle toner. I have to be careful now because of the hot and sweaty weather.

I would say go to a dermatologist! I had a similar problem a few years back, I would develop small blemishes and I hated it especially if it was that time of the month, went to my dermatologist, tried everything, antibiotics, retin A , etc. EVERYTHING, so my dermatologist put me on accutane..its a heavy duty prescription only drug, with side effects, I didnt have ANY of the side effects though, and it worked so great! I havent had ablemish since and I swear by it. Everyone is different, and different things will work for other people. Accutane is the ONLY thing that worked for me. Good luck with that!!

I use Basic clear soap - you can find it at certain stores. I know CVS carries it and some supermarkets.

Dermatologist, dermatologist.....that's my opinion. All of the topical stuff in the world is a waste of money if it doesn't get to the root of the problem. Not to mention, if you have insurance it's cheaper to get a prescription than spend $40 on products.

Really, once I went to the dermatologist I was able to pair my products to a minimum (except body lotion b/c I love to buy it!) and haven't had a breakout since (that was 3 years ago) or any problems with my skin on my body.

He does recommend a periodic facial and spa treatment for everyone, now I save so much on products that I actually have the money to do that every couple of months.
