Hi Ladies...I dont get on here much but occasionally do with some questions. After two years of being engaged and going through every idea possible we have finally decided on getting married on New Years Eve at town hall and having an early dinner after with our immediate family, best man and maid of honor then going somewhere that evening to dance and have drinks. My question is where is a great place in the western suffolk area that I can go the morning of to have my hair and make-up done? Any suggestions on where to go find a dress in this short amount of time? And any recommendations for a photojournalistic photographer to take some nice shots of my fiance, me and our three girls? This seems to be the best idea that works for us since we just bought a house, have three girls and dont really have the money for a big thing but still want to capture the moment and have the feel of a bride. Thanks for all your help!!!

First of all, Congratulations on choosing your date
You can definitely get a dress in that timeframe ... but you may need to pay the extra money for rushed shipping. Alternatively, you can buy a used dress (or a new dress from somebody who never wore theirs ... people post those every so often on here).
Also, David's Bridal is very fast with bridesmaid dresses so i'm assuming they're fairly quick with wedding gowns too ... but that's just an assumption

I can definitely recommend Jessica at Bocu Salon for hair. She is great. She is going to do my hair for my wedding.

for dresses def try Renates on montauk hwy in lindenhurst they r right by chateu la mer...they re awesome. we have done 4 weddings in my family there. one wedding i was in, the store we originally ordered the brides dress and all our dresses in closed without notice she was able to order a whole nes bridal gown an 10 BM dresses in a few months. For photographer go with Creative Compositions in Oyster Bay ask for steve or ernie...they listen to the bride and do awesome work.....if you are looking for affordable options for makeup you can always schedule and appt at sephora or mac and maybe your regular salon can do an updo for you?
