Need some hugs..

My RSVP date is in 7 more days and I still have 80 + RSVPs missing. And to boot, no one from my family has responded yes.

Now, I know it was my choice to have the wedding in NY when I am from Ohio..but no one? I feel so sad... and so anxious about not even being close to our minimum..

I went through the same thing with my wedding. We're in Chicago and hardly anyone from here (DH's side of the family) came to NY for the wedding. Super sad. Hang in there!

ours is out of state and hardly anyone from here DH's fam is coming.

know what you mean though. still missing a lot... ask your parents and his parents to call people that belong to them (aunts/uncles/cousins)

Dont worry! I had a period when I got alot of unexpected No's and started worrying that I wouldnt meet my minimum and also sad that people werent coming. But then I got a lot of unexpected Yes's so it all works out. Hang in there and remember alot of the RSVP's come right at or after the due date. People are just procrastinators by nature.

I'm so sorry. I can relate a little bit... we are both from NY, but we are having the wedding in CT. I knew that we were asking for a lot of people to say no, but I'm shocked that almost half of the guests did. On our RSVP date, we were missing 107 responses.

Just start calling people ASAP and don't worry--the people who want to be there will be and they will respond.
