Need some hugs or advice

My FSIL.........One word.....B!T$H....

For those of you who already know, I do not get along with her. She treats FH and I like crap. She doesnt live here (in his parents house where we live) but she came here tonight for dinner and she is sooooo RUDE.... My mood totally changes when she enters the room....its so bad. I am so sick of her sh!t today that I am upstairs right now while everyone is down stairs hanging out....I KNOW that is soo RUDE but I just cant stomach to be around her....UGHHH

OH and another thing, when she is around the family treats me so different....at first FH said it was all in my head but then I told him to watch carefully the next time and now he agrees with me..

I think I am just gonna leave the house now and not come back until she is gone.....that might be better then just sitting upstairs..

Why does she treat you this way? Did something happen for her to do this to you? FH should say something to her. Maybe she's jealous of all the wedding planning??

I know how you feel when you are uncomfortable in your own home when someone who you don't like is there. I would leave too and go hang out with friends... It's good that FH see's this change in everyone. AT least he now knows how you feel and understands why you would leave the scene for a while. Hang in there!!!!

Im sorry that your FSIL *****! Do you have any idea as to what she has against you? Why doesnt FH say something to all of them?

Nothing has ever happened between us she has been like this since the first day I meet her. FH has said something to her and his parents but nothing has changed.

Unfortunately Maryann it looks like this is what you are in for. It's not like she is being phony bc you say she has been this way since the beginning. You said FH spoke to her and his parents and nothing changed. It seems to me that she knows that she intimidates you and she gets off on it. I would either totally ignore her or push back. Maybe you are intimidated by her and you don't know it. Try to be more abrasive or tougher when around her and see what happens. I can tell that your not a loud girl but maybe you should try it. Some people back down when they know that they are challenged.

Hey I'm in the same boat as you. I dislike mine too. She's horrible, just HORRIBLE! It totally bl0ws!!!! My FH doesnt get along with her either and luckily he always sticks up for me when it has to do with her. I feel your pain. If you ever want to vent about it, just FM me I know the crap these crazy FSIL's can pull!!

Im sorry you have to deal with that-maybe its just jealousy! I doubt it will ever change but dont let her ruin the nights that she is there. Just ignore it! Good Luck with her-seems like its not going to change!
