Need some ideas and suggestions please!

Okay, a woman I work with bought us half of our everyday dishes (approx $50) as an engagement gift w/i weeks of our engagement.

Now she is engaged and I want to get them something, but I am at a loss. Here is some history, he is 45, divorced with 2 teenage boys. Her fiance is 45 also, divorced with 3 teenagers. He and his 3 kids recently moved in with her and her boys and they are doing MAJOR construction on the house to accomodate them all!

I hd though of getting a gift certificate to Bed Bath and Beyond (she recently commented on going there to buy sheets for their new bed). But I am afraid that is too impersonal, considering when she bought my gift, she asked me to print my registry and tell her what things I REALLY wanted.

Any suggestions/ideas please!!!

Oh, as of now, they do not have a date set, nor do I know if they are going to have a big wedding or a small (family only) wedding.

Maybe a gift certificate for a spa?? I don't know many women that wouldn't like that!!!

Or my first thought was a gift certificate to Home Depot since they are doing construction, but that might not be too appropriate.

I think a gift cert. to Bed Bath & Beyond is a good idea, since she mentioned that she wanted to go there.

Another idea would be since she asked you what you really wanted from your registry... I would ask her what she wants. I'm sure there are other people that want to get them gifts too so you never know they might even register some where.

That was really nice of her to you want you really wanted.
