Need some ideas!! Lets help eachother out!

Hi Everyone!!!!! this is my first posting. Im so excited!!! I created this account about 2 months ago and didnt realize you could chat with eachother! Anywayz... My wedding isnt untill Nov. 7, 2009, and i cant decide whether to have a cinderella theme wedding, and autumn theme wedding, or a little of both. What is everyone else's themes, if any?

Well...welcome and congrats!!
I am having a Halloween/Masquerade themed wedding...so I think your idea of a Cinderella/autumn wedding is a great idea...you could do so much and I think it helps when you have a lot of time to plan, that way you can think of EVERYTHING!!!

Yea, im sooo confused.. i dont even know where to start! I just met with a photographer yesterday and was blown away with the prices! My goodness! My parents gave me a budget thats from the 1970s!! Looks like im gonna be saving for the next 2 yrs!!! lol

Welcome and congrats!!!! I'm sure you can do alittle of both, Cinderella did come in a carriage made out of a pumpkin . Right?

I feel like if you are going to do a theme, that whatever it is, dont overdo it ya know? Dont get every single thing to look like cinderella or feel that you can only use autumn colors in every aspect of wedding planning

I say, do a lil bit of both... I have no theme as of yet... all i know is that I just want bright a.s.s colors cuz its a summer wedding

Aww summer weddings are sooo pretty.. I saw some many pretty cake ideas for summer. The reason why we're having a Nov. wedding is cuz we started dating in Nov. so we wanted to keep the same month. I definintely agree with not overdoing it.. I have to keep remining myself of that.... Give me a computer and an hour of time, and my mind is everywhere with ideas!! I was thinking cinderella theme (castle, carriage, etc..) and Autumn theme (glass pumpkin, leaves, acorns) It sounds cheesy but the vision in my head is really pretty.. Wow, i see everyone has all these pics posted, i better get moving! lol

I think it would look beautiful also!!!!! Def go with that.. For me, cinderella doesnt mean anything personal to us, so i didnt wanna go in that fairytale direction...

Don't worry about what people will think about your ideas. It's your wedding Which one do you like better. Their are some brides on the boards doing an autumn theme. You can do a search and check out their albums.

Welcome to the boards....Let me warn you, its going to become a major addiction. I love Cinderella! That was my theme for my Sweet 16. We are doing a baseball themed wedding. Have fun!!

We are definitely incorporating autumn into our wedding. We are very rustic and country as it is, so I am definitely playing that up. We are doing mini-pies and jars of apple butter for favors, burnt orange BM dresses, lots of leaves and autumn accents.

I'm also obsessed with Disney especially Cindrella and Price Charming so I might sneak some of that in there too (cake topper!)...but you can also do beautiful fall colors too!....anything to do with a wedding is beautttttttifulll!!

i'm having an autumn theme my date is 11/27/09. but you should do which ever you like better.
i'd take a look at everything you can do for each theme and then decide.

Yay!!! We're date twins Heather! Any ideas of where you're having it?

I dont know about anyone else, but i feel like i cant sleep at night lol! Im so friggen excited, i know its in 2 yrs, but i have sooo many ideas that i just cant stand it! hahah. I just wanted everything to be perdect! Does anyone else feel like this?

By the way, i think im gonna go with a theme thats a little of both... Im gonna look at some albums to get ideas. Who else is having an autumn or cinderella theme wedding?
