Need some LI Winery recommendations for a Bachelorette party

Hi Ladies,
I am starting to think about my friends bachelorette party………throwing around ideas and such. She is getting married in June.

We are discussing an idea of having the bachelorette party sometime in May and possibly heading out to LI to one of the wineries. My thoughts are dinner and wine tour and then head over into the Hampton’s to a lounge/club type place.

I would like to start with the winery idea first and here is where I need some referrals and advise from you ladies. I have been searching on the internet so I have a few places in mind that I am going to call…….but has anyone had a good experience and would like to refer one of many many wineries that are on LI???
Did you have dinner there? Or a private party??
It looks like there are only a few places where they actually offer dinner so another option could be is that we would eat elsewhere and then head over the a winery for tour and tasting.

Any experiences/recommendations/advice would be most helpful and give me direction in my preliminary research!!

Pugliese's is excellent. They also accomodate bridal parties. I have seen party buses and limo's there alot. Old Field is also good. I think it is a great idea.

I had my bachelorette party in the vineyards last year - we rented a limo and just bounced around to about 5-6 wineries. It was a blast...I wouldn't worry so much about which wineries have limo parking. Our driver said that he would drop us off at any place and just pick us up when we were ready if there was no parking. But, if I remember right, we went to Raphael, Bedel, Pugliese, OldField, and one or two others. Most of the winery web sites will tell you whether or not limos allowed if you are worried. Bring some food for during the day and have fun!

oh.. definately check out Pindar.. We had a blast when we went there over the summer- and the place was packed with bachelorette parties!

thats what we did for mine...

the wineries close by 6 if not earlier.. from what i remember..

we started from queens at 9:30 and were home by 6. then dinner afterwards

we went to
duckwalk - our favorite!
pindar - loved
macari -we liked and ate lunch there (we catered our own - wraps,sandwiches, fruit and cookies)
pelligrini - we didnt really like

we got an 8 hour limo from Royalty..

if you plan your own, some places required a group reservation for parties greater than 10..

This company has a great deal. $110 per person for 8 hours of the limo; all winery tasting fees at 5 pre-determined wineries; AND a boxed lunch. We just used them this summer, it was a great deal and the lunch was yummy!!

She goes to the Wineries alot and gave me helpful info!
