need some prayers *******updated**********

My mom went in this morning to have surgery to have a 'lump' in her breast removed. After 2 momograms the doctor said the 'lump' got bigger during the course of a 6 month period. So this morning at 7:30 she went to the hospital for another mamogram so they could pin point the exact location of the 'lump' then stick a needle in it so the surgeon will know where to find it, then go into surgery to have him remove it. They say it is routine but still she has to go under anesthesia. Please say a

ETA: I would be there but she didn't want anyone to go with her except my dad.

*UPDATE: my mom is out of surgery and in recovery.. no other news b/c my dads an idiot and doesn't ask uestions*

*****UPDATE:today was the reults of my moms biopsy of the surgery.. she is all clear.. no cancer...wooohoooooo

I'm so sorry! I hope your mom is fine. My mom had a similar situation back when I was in college. Her lump was not cancerous but they wanted to remove it since it had changed over a few mamograms. I was so scared back then because I thought I might lose my mom and she's so young! Thank God she was okay though.
