I am going back and forth with a dj for the eparty..and he gave me a price, it was within budget- wonderful...
then he asks me which rooms we were in and i say the two upstairs (1 for Ch, 1 for dinner) and he tells me in order for him to do music in that other room it is an extra $100...i really do not go over budget so i say, ill just have them pump music through that room bec we really do not want to go over budget...
then he writes me back, ok no problem...so 2-5 for the same amount of money...
am i wrong to think...ummm your working an hour less now, shouldn't it be less money?
how would one word this the correct way? please help bec i suck at this stuff! thanks much! xxoo

Re: need some quick help!
if you didn't sign the contract yet..I would ask straight out. Why is it still the same price if you are working for me an hour less? That is polite yet to the point

Re: need some quick help!
I would simply ask him why the price was still the same if he is now working an hour less?

Thanks so much!

Re: need some quick help!
I think that response was perfect! I hate when vendors try to screw couples just because its a wedding and they think we are just going to cave in.
Let us knwo what happens and good luck

Re: need some quick help!
Find a new DJ! He is playing games and is not very professional! Thank God you found this out now before the party.

Re: need some quick help!
sounds kinda shady...
I don't take bs from vendors...it's a waste of time. Basically, 'this is what I can afford' can you help me or not? They seemed to respond in my favor when I told them I was going to go elsewhere to be within my budget.
Call High Energy lol

I totally agree that you should look for a new person. I can´t believe that he is acting like that!! I guess these are the wonderful things that I have to look forward to once I stop seriously shopping around.
