Need some support

I'm feeling really overwhelmed- my master's thesis is due this semester, I'm working full time, have late night classes, and have been married almost 4 months now. My house is a mess, DH and I are grouchy at each other often, and I am so tired I can't think straight. I just want to sleep for 2 days straight. I feel like I am never going to finish my schooling, and I feel like I don't really know how to be a 'wife'. Right now, I miss my parents, and I want to go back home and sleep in my childhood bed! I don't know if this makes any sense at all, I just needed somewhere to vent and get some friendly advice/ support/whatever. Thank you for listening.

Hang in there, it will get better. All your hard work will pay off and when you are done with your thesis, you and DH can relax and enjoy yourselves!

I feel your pain...also working on my thesis this semester, on top of 5 other classes, working, and making time for the wonderful people in my life. Your life is going to be my life in 2 years (i am currently working on my honors undergrad thesis)...I will be in my last year of grad school when we are getting married. :::sigh:::it's gotta be tough...but you will make it, as will I. Your education will end and it will be worth it. If you don't mind me asking, what is your major field of study?

Hang in there! Just try to keep a sense of humor. The first year is the hardest even without all of that, so just hang in there and know that it'll get better and if you can get through this, you'll be better prepared for all of the challenges life will throw at you.

Ah, maybe we will run into each other one day...I am majoring in Speech Pathology!

Just hang in there. It is almost over. It is only 7 months away...you can do it!

You are doing great! May will be here before you know it, and you will have more time to do more things with your husband and get your house together. Dont feel like you are not being a 'wife' because nowadays, what does that mean anyway? Most women work because you need 2 incomes to support yourselves, and the men have to chip in and do housework and such. I am sure that your DH does not feel that you arent a good wife! He loves you, and although he probably just frustrated that he does not get much time with you, but knows that this is for the good for both of you in the long run. Hang in there sweetie, you will be fine, your thesis will get done, and May will come sooner than you think! Maybe you can plan a vacation or something for next summer for after graduation so you have some definite well deserved alone time with DH? Would be something nice to look foward to!
