My Aunt has a brain tumor - we found out last week. It's inoperable.
The back wall of my house has serious termite damage.
The front wall of my house has carpenter ants.
My bathroom is from 1950s and it's slowly but surely falling apart.
Our wedding rings and honeymoon payments are due THIS week and... well... need I say more?
Anyone have advice for how to handle these stresses less than two months before my wedding? I feel like I can't be happy cause everything is so overwhelming!

I don't know if I have any words of encouragement that would make anything any better for you but I do want you to know somehow, someway everything always works out. I am so sorry to hear about your aunt, that is a really tough situation and is really hard to handle I am sure. As for the other things, in time I think it will all work out. I wish you the best of luck and am so sorry that you are going through this. Keep your head held high and try to smile!!!

I am so, so sorry to hear about everything-especially your Aunt. I think the best thing to do is to take some time and focus on how you feel about your Aunt right now, because that is very important.
After you can think that through, prioritize everything else and decide what needs to be dealt with first.

I am so sorry you are going through this right now... that is a lot to have on your plate, especially with your wedding being less than two months away...
I'm not sure anything I say will make you feel better, I'm never really good in tough situations... but you will get through this. Your walls can be taken care of, your bathroom can be fixed...
Enjoy the time you have with your loved ones... enjoy your wedding day with them and I am sure your aunt will enjoy having that time with you as well.
Just tackle it one at a time, prioritize, you can only do so much. Don't let any of these things take away from your wedding day. It should be a day you enjoy!!!! Maybe if you explain your circumstances to your jewler I am sure they can hold on to your rings for an extra week or two to give you some more time to come up with the money.

Oh my god...I am sooo sorry to hear about your aunt. I cant imagine how you're feeling. How is your aunt dealing with this? My heart goes out to you.

Thanks, girls! It totally makes sense to prioritize - it's just hard to think that way when you're in a bad spot, ya know?
My aunt is optimistic - we'll ge the biopsy results on Wednesday - I'll keep you posted - but all the talk today about writing a will and getting all the paperwork in order was scary - plus she wasn't with us to celebrate Mother's Day, so that was strange.
I know we all just have to keep our heads up and plow through it, it's just not gonna be easy.
