Someone I knew danced with her brother to 'For You I Will' by Monica. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.

I am tossing around In My Life by the Beatles to dance with both my brothers since my Dad is deceased.
Here are the lyrics (they work SO much better when you listen with the music)

I have been flip flopping about this too. I was thinking of the original, slower version of 'Lean on Me'. I don't want anything too emotional though, I wouldn't be able to handle it.

I like that Beatles song as well! The words are great. My cousin and her brother danced to 'Time of Our Lives' (think that's what it's called) by Paul Anka.

I love this song! I was going to suggest the same but the Providence TV theme version sung by a woman (Chantal Kervusiak -sp???)

I danced with my brother to 'Oh how the years go by' by Vanessa Williams...I also considered 'In My Life' originally by the Beatles, but the Bette Midler version from 'For the Boys'

Please don't laugh, but I really want to dance w/ my brothers to 'Sister Christian' by Night Ranger. My brother used to sing it to me when we were little and I couldn't sleep...it has so much sentimental meaning to me but I'm not sure how it would go over...

me & my brother wanted beat it by michael jackson or jump by van halen bc we used to dance to it when we were little (mom nixed it).
we settled on I'll remember (from with honors) by madonna. another good one is the way you look tonight by frank sinatra
