Need STD help

Hi...I have a question that I hope someone can help with....I am going to be sending my Save the Dates out in the beginning of January and there are some people on the list that my mother wants me to send a save the date too...well my question is...These people dont know who I am so how do I let them know that they know my mother and not me...By the way..my last name is not on the save the date so they arent even able to tell that way.
I suggested to her that maybe she send them a x-mas card and we stick my save the date in there too so they can see the connection.
HELP!

I agree with the Christmas card idea...I'm worried about this for myself, because so many people on our list are FMIL's cousins, and they won't know me from a hole in the wall, and they might take a while to catch on to who FH is too!

What I did for those people was add a little note,

' You may have heard from my mother Jane Doe that I was getting married, but I wanted to make sure you have all the info and got the news personally from me. Hope you can make it'

i agree. maybe with a note with something about who you are. FH and i are using our last names on the STDs so we don't have the dilemma but i was thinking that some people may not know. Let's hope for the best!!!!!!!
