so my color scheme was always brown and pink. well i decided awhile ago i wanted to do a candy buffet so now im thinking of doing a sweets and treats theme. all candies and pies and cupcakes. i wanna do it without it looking juvenile. any ideas? i was thinking maybe making cupcakes in our colors and using those as placecards?? give me suggestions pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee xoxo

what about personalized candy jars serving as placecards.... sort of a placecard / favor combo?
or cookies as place cards (with names / tables on a sticker on the bag)
cupcakes would be messy!

here are a couple from wedding things...i would include a pic but they won't let me!!
Cupcakes may get messy lined up in a row, and people might have a difficult time picking them up without touching others.
I do like the pesonalized candy jar idea. Maybe you can take a little jar and fill it up with some candy (jelly beans, m&m's, skittles, etc.) and make labels indicating names and table numbers. This would serve both as a placard and a favor.

btw...the cupcakes and petit fours placecard holders i posted above are fake..they're not edible so they won't get messy!!!
