Need Suggestions

Hey Girls! Ok so I need some sort of girdle/corset/shapewear for under my gown. My gown is fitted in the tummy and the hips and I want something to smooth any lumps. I want something that doesn't have an attached bra; something that goes from the upper thigh to the upper tummy. I have some reservations about Spanx cuz I have heard they roll down on the tummy part, which is where I need the most support. I probably need something with boning through the tummy region. Do you guys have any miracle products that you love?? Any suggestions of brands other than Spanx?? Let me know! Thanks so much!

you should try Spanx, I know they sell them in Bloomingdales and Lord and Taylor. They come in all different types.

I actually bought the spanx stockings that have the tummy control. I hate the rolling down but the spanx did not roll down. I was comfortable in them, didn't feel like I had to tug them up all night. I also bought the ones that go from the tummy to the mid thigh. I haven't tried them yet but I plan on trying them soon. My suggestion would be to try different things till you find the one that's most comfortable for you.

There are companies other than Spanx that you can find at Bloomingdales or saks fifth ave. I have some stuff from Spanx though and I even wore it to try on gowns!

I notice that the combination between the spanx and a long line corset bra works the best... wear the spanx under the bra so that they don't roll and it cushions the boning alittle. Good Luck!
