Frankie is driving me nuts that we must go away next weekend- NOTHING on Long Island! We tried Hershey either booked solid or a lot of money for the hotels. Does anyone have any suggestions???
Please he is going to drive me up a wall with this!!!

I like Mystic Ct. There's lots of site seeing during the day and you can go to the casinos at night if you want.
Newport RI is supposed to be really nice.

Cape Cod is fun...there are lots of bed and breakfasts that are cute and on the water.

Swags, if you want to go to Hershey, why not try to stay in Harrisburg. It is the next town and it is only about 10 minutes from Hershey. FI & I are going to Hershey and staying at the Red Roof Inn in Harrisburg (king size bed $65 a night).

I'm a huge fan of AC but the hotels are going to cost a lot - unless you stay outside of AC

Newport, RI is so nice. The Mansion tours are so cool and interesting. There are also great restaurants and shopping.
Mystic is OK, but personally I wasn't too impressed with either the Aquarium or the town.
I hear Boston is nice.
Salem was a great trip, very interesting, awesome food, romantic B&Bs. But it's much nicer to go in October, around Halloween...
Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard is also nice.

well it depends on what you like to do... but Fi and I decided one weekend to just go and explore Philadelphia! We had a blast, went to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, hung out in their trendy district, got cheese steaks... It is only 3hrs away and there is so much see and do and it's not that expensive like Cape Cod or AC or Newport.

I agree with NyLisa. We stay in Harrisburg all the time instead of Hershey. Its a short drive from all the action. If not, Mystic is awesome.

OK Hershey is out every where we called is booked even in Harrisburg or more then he wants to spend.
AC is not really us.

Foxwoods. You dont' need to stay at their hotel (you can find a B&B in Mystic or one of the neighborhing areas). FH and I are going there in 3 weeks.
Mohegun Sun in Connecticut...a little pricey though or Newport, RI.

How about - New Hope, PA, (lots of shopping) LBI, Seaside Hts, Wildwood, NJ for the beach and boardwalk Reheboth Beach, Delaware Baltimore, MA Lake George Mystic, CT/Mohegan Sun
you should try site59, maybe they have some trips that you don't have to fly to...
