NEED SUGGESTIONS!!!! queens girls or anyone whoe knows Queens!!!!

Original post by SoVic08

Hi girls.. I need suggestions for a company Christmas party in the Queens area. It would be for about 100 people we need dinner and DRINKS (open bar preferably) and a dance floor and DJ. My boss has been paying (for allll this) about $50.00 per person for years at the same place in Brooklyn and we are kind of boycotting going to Brooklyn every single year so now it is up to us to find somewhere in Queens that works for this price. We are looking in probably any area but for some ODD reason she does not want Astoria. PLEASE say you have suggestions for me!!!! Any help is always appreciated!

Verdi's in Whitestone & Romaview are both great and pretty inexpensive. They have private rooms, so you can get a Dj and the food at both places is really good! My e-party is at Verdis.

Abbraciamento's is also pretty inexpensive. And it's huge, so the thing I don't like is they put up all these temporary walls to separate the rooms and have like 6 parties at once. It gets kinda crazy in there.

I went to a wedding at Douglaston Manor, and it was OKAY. The food was decent, not wonderful. It is really pretty though. And they don't really work with you on prices. (cranky old italian men!)

I second Abbraciamento's and Roma View...they both have great food and would most likely stay within your budget.

I'm not sure if Roma View will give you your own room though, I went to one party there and it was like one dance floor, and the food was set up buffet style..all the parties used the same food and same dance floor. We still had a lot of fun, it felt like one huge party..but I don't know if thats what your looking for. Also, if you have a big enough party..they may give you the room to yourself..sorry..wish I knew more!!

Roma View will give you a party on your own if its big enough. . .there are a few different rooms

Villa Russo is another good one

Carosello is nice too - owned by Russo's but less expensive and the food is great

Douglaston Manor - my sister got married there ten years ago and it was great, then they went downhill THEN they got new owners and now I hear they are great again!

Russos does corporate parties all the time. You can also try Villa Russo, Terrace on the Park, Waters Edge, and Douglaston Manor.

Was just going to suggest Russo's on the Bay - they do an excellent job!

Hey what does she have against Astoria, I would suggest Cavo which is great, but since she doesn't like it...How about...Verdi's in whitestone, I can't think of anything else right now.
