Need Suggestions...what to do with the men during the shower?

My shower is on Sunday in Roslyn. I have some people who are driving in from out of town, so the men will need something to do for the 4 hours while the women are at the shower. Now the obvious thing would be for them to go and hang out at my parents house for the duration, but no one seems to want to since my parents are on the south shore and its too far for them to drive. I guess they can go out to lunch, but that wont take up 4 hours. What else can they do in that area to keep them occupied until the shower is over?

Why this is even my problem I dont know, I just dont want them showing up halfway through the shower.

My guys are going to the range at calverton and then are coming to grub a meal at the end - piggies - bc they are going to haul my loot back to my parents house (ooo love sayin that!)

But a bar or a dave and busters or some fun guys activity is a good way to go - something they like to do with no women

I've told my MOH I want my shower at the end of Aug. or beginning of Sept. so it can be done as a backyard bbq at my FSIL's house... even though my wedding is in December.

The men can then go to FH's house and they can have their own BBQ and leave us ladies to our ooohhhh's and ahhhhh's

at all our showers most of the men that drive the women have lunch in a separate room in the place; this is what my dad is doing.

fh won't be there though; he's coming at the very end.

Rosyln is a pretty limited town in terms of entertainment , there are a few bars they can go to , like the Chalet ( kinda dive-y, but fun) or Poco Loco's - which is good mexican food ect . If they would prefer a dave and busters type , there is one by the roosevelt field mall , only 10 min away

Oh and you do have a point, it is SO not your problem to figure where the men go .

yeah, I know its not my problem...but my mom was basically like, oh, they'll just go for a walk when they are done eating. A 2 hour walk???? My concern is that they'll just end up showing up at the shower 2 hours early.

my shower is at the George Washington Manor too! Mine is April 5th. I was thinking the same thing. I'll only have a few guys there and i was thinking of sending them to Poco Loco's. I think thats the name of it, its right down the block. Its a cute little mexican place. Its also a bar too if they just want a few drinks. HTH!
