I booked with Pedestals. I don't really want to cancel. But I am confused as to why I paid Pedestals when I was leaning towards Flowers and Designs by Gina.
I've been reading so many horror stories about Pedestals not delivering on the day of the wedding.
I am so petrified they will not deliver what is expected and discussed.

do you not want to cancel cuz its just a headache (which i completely understand) or do you not want to cancel because you think they do good work? (but are worried cuz of the bad reviews).
i think that they do good work as well but i have heard that unfortunately they are a large florist and sometimes the work on the day of is just like an assembly line rather than 1 designer making sure everything is perfect like the other florists you mentioned.
i think read some other reviews...both positive and negative because you have to balance both and if you still feel unsure, if you can afford to lose the deposit and not be liable for any other money, then maybe thats your best choice.
if they pressured you to book and thats why you signed, thats definatley not why one should go with someone. its unfortunate that vendors do this

I can tell you that Pedastals went above and beyond on my day and I was thrilled with everything ... I am not sure what kind of horror stories you are reading because I've never really read any. But, if you are that concerned that it's making you sick to remain booked with them, then just lose your deposit and book elsewhere ... it's not a huge deal. Your sanity is more important than a few dollars.

I have not yet booked a florist but recently checked out Pedestals. I agree w/ your reservations about them but its hard to predict what will happen on the big day - a lot of the 'Bigger' florist vendors can screw up just as much as the smaller, local outfits that charge less. .
