Need Taco Help!

This is my first time making Tacos and I was wondering if anyone knows how to 'Brown' the meat? I was told to use 1 lb. of Ground Beef. Now how do I cook that? In a frying pan with oil? I'm totally lost.

you just put in a frying pan - you don't need any oil - even the lowest-fat meat will make enough fat to prevent anything from sticking.

Don't forget to spice it up.

I had planned to make the same thing tonight but decided not to. I will make it tomorrow night.

Yes just brown it in the pan & add the taxo mix. We do this once a week!

We use sour cream, taco sauce, taco cheese, lettuce, tomatoe and we warm the tortillas on the burners yummy!!!!

yes, you got it right....SOOOOOOO GOOD, after browning you can drain the fat out of the pan, (you can use a spaghetti strainer if you have problems keeping meat in pan). this helps cut a little fat out.

I am jealous, I can't tacos

Re: Need Taco Help!

When making hard tacos, I brown the meat and add it to the tortilla shell with shredded cheese on top. Then I bake them for a few minutes. The taco is much easier to work with if you bake it with the meat and cheese. Otherwise they break when you stuff them :)

i recently found hunts mexican stewed tomatoes...it is so easy...brown the meat...then add the sauce (usually one can is good for 2 lbs)

otherwise...i do it myself with a small can of tomato sauce...cumin (essential) and other spices...
