need the guy's opinion

need to get a check on a gift idea for my FH. Even tho we decided not to do the gift exchange for the wedding, i wanted to get him something as an engagement/wedding gift to remember this time. the man has everything (doesn't wear jewelry except the watch that he LOVES, doesn't want a TV, not into sports that much)...

My friend is an amazing artist and does one-of-a- kind portraits - they're incredible - he does this for many people and he's been published in many books. I was thinking of getting my portrait done in my wedding dress to give to my FH after our wedding.

Guys, is this something you would like? HELP!

well...i think it would be great...except you would be wearing your dress before the wedding. i would save your dress wearing for him.

i wouldn't surprise him with a gift like that at the wedding. you don't want to start things off on a sour foot. he is gonna feel bad he didn't do anything plus if you did it at the wedding, he couldn't exchange back and your family would see that.

just enjoy the wedding, the gift for the day is that family,friends are able to enjoy your magical day
