My fmil fell in love with a Daymor Couture dress. It is GORGEOUS but the store we saw it in wants $800!!!!!!! Do you ladies know if sugarplum or macys or commmack wedding center or anyplace like that carries this brand?

I don't know..but my FMIL saw a dress, not that brand for $700 and my FSIL saw it in the city for $300....did you do a search on-line? She could order it on-line it might be cheaper..

i tried net bride and bridesave but they dont carry that brand she loves it but she said she still has time to shop around so I guess its ok. The website dosent list prices and I have the ad from a magazine and called all the stores that they list in NY and only one would give me the price over the phone I dont see what the big freakin deal is!!!! my fmil isnt the type to drive all around to save a few dollars and I dont get what the big mystery is... if I lived closer i would just walk in look at the price tag and leave but i cant - sorry for the vent

Try RK Bridal on 39th. They have a 'no frills' program there that allows you to save a ton. You can see on their website if they carry the designer first - RK Bridal (NYC)

I just want to say - Beautiful dress! And I too was going to suggest RK Bridal. I've been there once and they have a lot of designers and for less.

my mom bought a daymour dress from a small shop (a clothing and dress shop) in st.james. i forget the name (i think it starts with an m) but it next door to jt carlton's if you are familiar with that salon/spa. i will get the name for you if you are interested.
different dress buy my mom paid $400. they ordered it and she rec'd it in 2 weeks.

I just wanted to tell you that Sugarplum doesn't have anything like this - they don't really carry dresses with Jackets.

My mom bought that same brand name MOB dress in Lestans in Brooklyn and the prices were really good. You can try calling them - not sure if that is too far for her.
