what do you need it for?
we have a beach house and need a 4x4 to get over the sand (after getting stuck in our VW)...when we went shopping I was AMAZED...at the amount of SUVs that are NOT 4x4....I don't see much of a point to that...
we ended up with a Jeep Wrangler - as a last fling before we have kids...otherwise it would have been a Cherokee (we get a discount for Chrystler cars)
MIL has had a Ford Explorer forever...just bought a new one and is very happy...again she uses the 4x4 in the desert in AZ and to put hay in the back for her horses

I have a Suzuki Grand Vitara. I love it!!! It is a 6 cylinder 4x4. I have no complaints at all!

We have a Mazda Tribute. It's a smaller SUV but we love it so far. We have only had it since the the end of July. We take a lot of driving trips and wanted something that would be good for all road conditions.So far so good.

FI has a Caddy Escalade and LOVES it! It actually is extremely comfy and drives wonderfully.
My mother has the BMW truck, she LOVES that too.

I have a mini-suv - a Hyundai Santa Fe. It drives more like a car than a truck. I got the 6 cylinder, 2 wheel drive version and love it! It was affordable, has great safety ratings, a great warranty, and I love how it looks! It has treated me very well in the past two years.

I have a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe, 6 cyl, 4x4 and so far, I love it! I only got it about 2 weeks ago. It is the best buy for your $$ as far as SUV's go.
I also LOVE the Nissan Murano

I had a Nissan Pathfinder and loved it. We upgraded to a Land Cruiser and I just felt it was too big for me. So we bought another Pathfinder, which is what I drive now and I love it!!

I have a Nissan X-terra and I LOVE it! It's not as big as the Pathfinder but bigger than the Jeep Liberty. It has been very reliable so far, and as FH always says, I've never seen one stuck on the side of the road.

I have a Ford Excursion (Limited 4X4 V10) and absolutely love it! It's a shame they're discontinuing it.
Something tells me my truck won't make your list.
We had a Toyota 4-Runner prior to the Ford and that was one great vehicle! (We did a lot of off-roading with it.) The high ground clearance really made a difference.

I have a Honda CRV, and although I call it a mini-SUV, I LOVE IT! It's 4x4 and has NEVER given me a problem....
She's no Escalade, but she get's the job done....

VW is letting me out of my lease. I am getting the 2004 Touareg. It is a great car! They are brand new. So far consumer reports likes them. Car and Driver ranks them as best SUV for 2004.

I have a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. I love the truck but the service people are jerks. I will only bring it to Ramp out in Port Jeff. They are the only people that have treated me with any respect. Thats the downfall of the truck.

As I posted above, we have the Honda CRV and absolutely love it! It's the most reliable car ever, it's comfy, has lots' of room and it's 4x4.
