So, I get a call about for interview and I am really excited because they focus in travel and tourism PR - a field that I am dying to get into. So, I am talking to this guy and setting up an appointment and then I realize the interview is an internship. Nevermind that I am graduating and already had 4 internships. I am getting married, I need a job that pays! with benefits! ... Are they serious!!?

haha, i pretty much did. i was like 'thank you, but i have already had 4 internships and i have done the same type of work as most entry-level people, i think i deserve to get paid -- dont you?'
His response 'But you resume is so great, we would love to me with you'

I've had so many of those kinds of interviews when I was graduating. They think that you're desperate, and it's really insulting. But look at it this way, if you make a good impression, then they'll keep keep you in mind for a 'real' poisition.

they called me back and asked me to reconsider. i guess i will go on the interview - its pays well for an internship - but still! we'll see...

The same thing happened to my FI a few months ago. He was just looking around while still at his current job and this company calls him offering him an internship thinking they were doing him a favor! He was like are you kidding me???? That is crazy. Good luck in your job search!
