OK so my bridesmaids have NO wraps and it is the end of Nov my AOH said 'we will suck it up' and I said no soooooooooo now I am trying to find a dark brown velvt to match their tops! and then sew wraps for 5 bm and 2 moh UGH! any suggestions or anyone know where I could buy brown velvet wraps?
I don't know where you live, but I found some (my girls are wearing brown velvet as well)....I don't know the name of the fabric store, but its on glen cove road between old country road and jericho turnpike. its in a row of stores near Big Lots/Party City (big lots is in a plaza, this store is on the same side of glen cove road in the row of shops next to big lots) they had a few different shades of velvet in the brown family and were willing to give me samples to take home.....i bought it a few months ago, but they should have it! i looked allllllllll over, so i know what you are going thru!!!!

Re: need to find dark brown velvet
when i need fabric...i always head to queens in jackson heights they have lots and lots of fabric stores because i guess theres a big market of the indian community there that purchases it.... they have this store in Jackson Heights called India Sari Palace {isp} and i mean they have every color fabric you could imagine, i know its a trip from Long island, probably a 30 min drive from where i live, hewlett, but just a suggestion... they have walls of fabric...and a plethora of other stores around were you can get fabric from...

The train to Jackson Heights may be a better alternative than driving since parking is hard to come by - Roosevelt Avenue is the station stop.
Have you checked e-bay for the wraps?
