I have really been bad lately, not counting points, eating bad, ect. I was doing so good on WW, but just fell off the past 2 weeks. Yesterday I ordered my dress in the 10 instead of the 12 which is about 1-1/2' smaller in the waist. Although that is not much, my middle is my problem area, and I cant afford to gain any weight as well as needing to lose some more. I also want to quit smoking before the wedding. Am I fighting a losing battle here? Anyone here quit smoking and gain a lot of weight?
I quit smoking very slowly...went down to lights then ultra lights...then a few a day...then a few a week...and I didn't gain weight from it...

Re: Need to get back on track!
no it will happend. just like weight loss, smoking is a reconditioning of habits. Prepare for a few slips, but learn to handle and recover from them so they don't lead to a spiral down.
I have a very addictive personality and I have battles both. eatting disorders and smoking. It's hard, but you can do it an the rewards are immeaureable. what works for someone might not work for you, so you need to look at what it is tat triggers your habits and learn to replace it wth something better and more rewarding.
You might find that by exercising you won't feel the urge to smoke. My make it ever harder exercising while ****ing on an exhaust pipe. The improved health leads to a trickle down effect to better lifestyle habits. You can do it, if you are ready to make the change for the better

Re: Need to get back on track!
Thank you ladies for your encouragement. I just got my 'The Firm' exercise package, so maybe (like you said) when I start exercising I wont want to smoke. Im trying to watch what I have been eating, but with my new schedule of working nights its been hard. On my days off, I want to eat late at night and then i fall asleep.
