Need to have a hardwood floor sanded & refinished

Can anyone recommend someone to do this? I've called at least a dozen companies that I found in the phone book, they all have answering machines and NO ONE has called back!

We had the same problem. Many of them did call back and set up appointments with us, but either they never showed up or they never called back with a quote.

Aliperti and Son was recommended to me, so we've been using them. (They're located in Huntington.)

I have someone. I don't have th enumber with me but I will have it tonight to post. I just got a quote last night. My mom used him a few times.

I just did ours myself. It was a lot of work, but worth it for what we saved. And they look great!

When I was calling places, I found names in the Pennysaver, and generally got a person not a machine.

We used P&G - and love our floors.

not sure where you live but we are in suffolk and we used fardig floors...a family business or somehting and they were great - their number is 631.265.8416 - they never seem to answer the phone but if oyu leave a msg they will call you back within a day or so...we looked at a few companies and they were the cheapest..they had done a firned's parents house too so we knew they did good work! we were amazed at the qulaity - they even replaced a few boards that needed it for free!
