Need to hear positive experiences with Rebecca from Wedding Invitation Design

I have been chatting back & forth with Rebecca for some time now and she has even sent me 2 samples which I love. I just read a negative review about her and am in hope that there are brides on here who can tell me of their positive experiences so I don't feel as I am making a mistake using Rebecca.

I won't deny that when I first tried to contact her, she hadn't replied to my email and then when I contacted her again, she was thankful as she forgot to email me back the 1st time b/c she has been super busy. There was even a time when she told me that she would send a sample but I never received it & then when I emailed her she even seemed suprised and said she'd make me a new one and sent it to me by Express Mail.

I know she is very busy but after reading the negative review, I am questioning using her for my invitations. If you ladies have any positive reviews, or negatives besides her not emailing you back when you tried to contact her the first time, please post them.

I only have a negative which I already posted on here. She was supposed to make 3 samples for me and it was taken her forever to send them to me. I believe I was waiting about 3 weeks when I contacted her to see what was going on. She told me that she had sent them out a few days ago and I would get them in a day or two. I never got them so I contacted her again and realized that she lied to me because this time her response was that she was almost done with the 3rd sample and she would send them in the mail shortly. So that was it. I got my money back for the samples and found someone else who has been extremely resonsible.
Her name is Allison from satinbow.net If you don't go with Rebecca I highly suggest Allison.

Well as far as quality goes, I'll vouch it's stellar. My pocketfold samples were great everything I was looking for. I think she is good to work with just make sure that you note when you want your invitations by. Just so she doesn't take it upon herself to do them solely based on your wedding date not by your need by. Every situation is different yes my date is July 14th, but I wanted to send them out early because hall wanted early count and I have many stragglers I needed a few weeks buffer. (Latin people are on their own time )

As long as you specifically state when you want your invites I'm sure you'll hopefully have no problems. I think also AMJA had no problems with her and had rave reviews..

I got my samples from her within 3 weeks, and my order was completed in time. I noticed towards the end in Jan/beginning of Feb I had to be on her case more, bc she wasn't getting back to me, and I told her ...listen you better get back to me! I'm the one that gave you all this business to begin w/! Just give me an answer!
Even though her rates are lower, it's sometimes not worth it if they are too busy.

She should just be honest and turn people away then instead of stringing along!

I absolutely agree with you about being honest and just turing people down if you are too busy! I know alot of girls have also had positive experiences with pippy's sweets but she was the same exact way Rebecca was.

I know a lot of you have had problems with Rebecca but I just want to give you an update from the other day when I posted this.

Since Erica had a problem with Rebecca and the invitations the other day, Rebecca has been on the ball with everything. Rebecca explained to me that if you need your invites within a certain time frame, you must tell her this way she can get them completed, otherwise, she will go by your wedding date and have them completed in date order, not by the way she receives her orders. So for all you ladies who plan on using Rebecca, if you want them completed by a specific date, you must tell her.

She also mentioned to me that she switched her email to Outlook b/c she was having problems receiving some of her emails. She mentioned that her yahoo address was putting a lot of her emails in spam and this is why she may not have replied to my emails or anyone elses.

I am ordering my invites from her b/c her work is amazing and I will give a review after I receive them which should be in June some time.

I know this is an old post but..My blood in boiling...I am extremely upset and I don't know what to do....

And Now....it's taken a turn for the worst with me.

Rebecca was great in the beginning, got my sample and LOVED IT!!! (Back in March)

Finally- in June I recieved my invites....It looked nothing like the sample...The font was wrong - the ercu paper was discolored and Yellow....I sent her an e-mail letting her know how what she gave me was not what we had agreed upon or what I had paid for....She said she realized that, after reviewing the paper and explained that the font I wanted didn't show up on the invite so she had to make it bolder...

HELLOOOO Aren't you going to tell me this before you send the final product to me? Well apparently not -

I've e-mailed her numerous times and she told me that she had sent my invites priority mail on June 28th -

TODAY IS JULY 5th and I DON'T HAVE MY INVITES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


What do I do? She hasn't answered my e-mails or calls- I am extremely upset and I have no Idea what to do....

Please help.

I went through all that and then some.. hang in there..I hope she comes through for you!

WOW!! I'm really concerned about this point b/c I am using her as well... She is sometimes hard 2 reach but has been a doll everytime...

Continue to email and call her...Hope everything works out..

WOW!!!! I take it her business isn't somewhere close that you could just show up there. I would keep calling and calling and calling non stop until she answers or returns your call. I am sorry to say this but, you might want to start looking for another invitation you can order and have back in time just in case. GOOD LUCK!!!!! Keep us posted!!!!

I just saw this now after responding to your FM you sent me about her.

Like you said, she is great in the beginning but in the end her customer service skills go down hill. I haven't received my invites yet but after what I paid and how long I've waited, she better make everything the same way as the sample she sent me.

I am so sorry this has happend to you. She sent me an email on June 28th telling me she sent out my invites saying she would send me the insurance # she purchased (not trackign #) and she never got back to me until I hounded her on Saturday June 30th. That is when she finally gave me the insurance # but I don't think that would help with anything (trackign wise). I have so had it with her and can only say that her work is beautiful (from what I've seen) but her customer service skills are terrible!

I really hope she was able to correct the issue. If you do not receive anything in the mail today, I would call her and talk to her.
