Need to know Bakeries for my cake

Hi
i am in search bakeries on li or in the city it really does not matter just wanted reccomendations. I want to try them for my engagment party before i book them for my wedding. any kind of help would be good.

Audrey's Cakes is great. They're doing our wedding cake. They are located in suffolk, but I don't have the info readily available.

Definitely check out Cupcake Cafe in the city. They have a website and do some really amazing buttercream cakes with detailed floral designs, www.cupcakecafe.com. They are located on 39th and 10ave. in the city, it's like this small - not fancy storefront, but they are famous for their cakes and cupcakes because the taste is divine!!
