FI's uncle has 4 kids. 1 girl and 3 boys. we are asking the girl today to be our FG. Should we ask all three boys to be ring bearers? FMIL thinks we should and FI cannot make his mind up. I don't want anyone to feel left out but I also don't want 3 ringbearers and 1 FG. Give me your opinions !!!!

Re: need to make decision by 2 p.m. HELP !!!!
I am having 2 flower girls. One comes from a family with 2 brothers. We are not having either as a ring bearer. The other flower girl has a sister and she is not in the wedding party.

I don't think there is anything wrong with having three ringbearers, it will probably be adorable to see them all walk down the aisle. Are you and your FH close with these kids? If the answer is yes, ask them. If you reallyaren't close then I wouldn't. I also wouldn't listen to FMIL, you have to do what is right for you.
PS I have one FG, two ringbearers and two Jr. GMs. They are my nephews and I wouldn't for a second consider not having them.

I would ask either the youngest or the oldest to be the ringbearer. The way the wedding precession goes, you can have more than 1 flower girl- but more than one ring bearer isn't usually done (how may rings do you have?) If the other children really would feel left out then either talk to them, ask them to do something else special in teh wedding, or have them walk down the aisle without the ring bearer. It's your wedding- do whatever you feel comfortable doing.

I had 4 flowergirls. What is the difference in age - maybe have them all in the wedding party but have the oldest be the ring bearer.

I vote no. Just have 1 do it.
HOwever, maybe you can ask the other 2 to hold your train as you walk up the aisle, if your train is long enough? That way no one's feelings are hurt.

I am having 2 FG's and 1 R.B. If you feel very close with them it is fine. Again it depends on their age, there really isn't a big deal if they all walk down the aisle together. OR you can pick the oldest one with the confidence that he will be able to walk down and not run backward to mommy!

I think it depends on your FH's relationship with them and their ages.

We were in the same situation....we asked the 1 girl to be the FG and the oldest boy to be the RB...the other 2 are only 2 years old....

we are having two flower girls and two ring berarers. You can aslways call the third boy a junior usher and have him escourt the flower girl in! In our case, We still had an extra boy and we are having him lead in before the two flower girls, and after the ring bearers. We are even having another boy hand out programs. You can always fit them in! :)

If you'd like to include all 3 boys you could have 1 as your ringbearer & the other 2 as your train bearers. They walk behind yoou carrying your train as you go down the aisle.
