Need to pick your brain for marketing ideas

OK... I need to know what, as a client, you would like as marketing ideas, gifts...etc. (for massage therapy).

I need new ideas for packages available, cute ideas (advertising, gift cards, etc...),

Also what you like in a room, what you don't like, etc...

Will you be working out of your house or a store front or going to them?

I go often to a spa. I usually don't like the selection of scents they offer and they often don't ask me what scent I want. I think that would be nice, to offer a wide selection of scents.

If all else fails, I say go topless. I think every business is more successful when they go topless.

Seriously speaking, maybe offer product packages. I buy my skincare stuff from a spa in Port Jeff and it's so expensive. It would be so nice if they offered some kind of discount for buying more than one product. Or at the very least offer something to the effect of 'after the 3rd treatment, get one half off or free'. Those kinds of promotions always get me.

a refer-a-friend program is always good.

have a treatment, refer your friend and after they have their treatment - $50 gift certificate for you.

I like the room warm, dim and nice ambient music and rich dark colors and nice fabrics. I don't really like when they talk to me. I just want to relax and not have to think or try to make conversation.

I missed that part of the question but DITTO to Kitty's response...especially the no talking policy. That's a major pet peeve.

I agree. And no overly smelly stuff. I went to one where the room was heavy in incense, which I disliked.

I've seen plastic feet massager things, that have little balls on the ends of them, I wonder if you could get your name and number printed on them as a take home thing?

Or stress balls with your info on them?

Take-home products are great, but they should be in all price ranges also. A spa I went to had great packages but they were super-pricey.

I would lve different themes in treatments- like a Hawaiian treatment, where you play that Ukeleile Hawaiian music, and get rubbed down with scents like pineapple and coconut, maybe a hot stone or sand exfoliation?
etc.

buying a package of say 5 massages in one lump payment and saving money

like maybe $80 per massage but if you buy 5 massages its 70 a massage

also offering less or omre time for a massage is good

i like people that massage me and dont talk to me

i hate when i hear them getting more oil- like the sqeezing it out of a tube- irks me for some reason

i like music in the background

I was thinking, if you could do a 'Buy 10 massages, Get 1 Free' kinda deal. That'll get people to keep coming back.

ETS: Yea, no talking. Put on some nice, soothing music and just let your clients relax.

I definately do not want to be talked to. Id want the room dark and warm. Im not really into scents.. they pretty much make me sick.

I like the refer a friend idea also.
