So here I am pretty much changing my entire flower and almost color scheme 2 months before the wedding. Mainly because the more I see red BM dresses, the flowers are almost always red and white, and I figured I need something completely different.
So Laurie at LA Blossom suggested yellow, and now I am on a pastel / tropical kick, and it might work with the bordeaux dresses. Plus now I can get my bo-k in a heart shape, which is what I originally fell in love with.
The first 2 are the bo-ks I have in mind originally.
I think it will look great with the bordeux, especially in April

the 4th one will LOOK AWESOME for BM dress in a Bordeaux color!!! I was considering 'red/wine' dresses and yellow flowers! I like the 1st one for you...

No, the berries would be out, but I saved that one because of the mix of colors in it!
Then I was thinking something like these for the CPs with some pillar candles around them but with a LOT LESS green
JMO--not loving the way the orange/yellow looks with a red dress...
The more i think about your colors/time of year...i think you should consider red/pinks and maybe a touch of light yellow....
Maybe you can do roses like in the bo-k above but change the palet a bit...

I actually hate pink, no offense to anyone, only because I am so not a girly girl.
The BM bo-ks would be more yellow than the picture posted, I was only using it as a reference. It just happened to be something I really liked. She suggested yellow cybidiums, but I thought they were too mustard yellow (and too expensive!).

My vote is for #4 because it is more 'yellow' and tropical looking...#3 reminds me more of a Fallish theme...

Sorry, I didn't realize you don't like pink... Go with what you love...I'm sure laurie won't stear you wrong...I do also like #4 with the yellow/tropical colors....
I found this, not sure what type of flower it is but the yellow looks kind of nice next to the red.
