Some places have the corset type girdle/bra combo but instead of hooking up on the top it hooks around the waist. I would take your pic and go to an undergarments boutique. Check out some vendors on the site. With a dress like that you definitely don't want to skimp on the undies!!!

Try Georgette's on Hicksville Road. Before they had me try on any bras, they asked me exactly how my dress looked on top so they could find a bra that wouldn't peek out.

try blum's in patchogue-- they are very helpful and will tell you what they think you should get and what would work best with the dress...

I would go for a long line bra.
I got mine at georgette in Hicksville. About $50-$55.

go to Blums in Patchogue. They will fit you and tell you what you need.
I needed the same thing and I got a strapless, backless, long line bra. It's awesome

i have same issue. i got a bra called felina. it's great! i found that macy's in walt whitman mall had the best selection of strapless, tummy sucking bras to try on. good luck!

I had a strapless gown too (Pic#2).
I actually had both bra and cups sewn in and wore a long-line bra. My seamstress suggested that I have the cups sewn in as well, it keeps the shape of the gown.
I got my bra at the salon I went to (Bridal Reflections), but it was actually a bra that I've seen in Macys, Bloomingdales, etc.
This was mine, it was very comfortable.
