Need to vent....

Does anyone else feel like the support from friends/family has been gone?
People seemed excited for us at first...Now No-one wants to even listen it seems...

My mom was all excited, now she fakes it and her stating she would help with things, from money to craft projects seems to be forgotton..

Last night one of my BM's ( one who was upset she was not MOH) called from a 'friends' house to say hi and mainly complain...I just kept thinking she is at someones house she barely knows 9 new friend)..and I have been engaged 7 months and she has yet to see my ring or even ask about the wedding besides complaining about where my hall is to why she is not MOH...

My family doesnt seem to be interested in the least and I see FH's cousin who is getting married 3 months before us getting all excited with her friends/family all the time...

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing major I need to do and I have two bm's that will listen to me complain so I guess it could be worse...I just feel like no-one wants to be bothered anymore...

Sorry to vent, feel a little better now that it's out...

I understand what you're saying, but trust me, at some point, even you will go through a period of not being excited about it.

The thing is this - this is the most important day in our lives. In the beginning, our excitement and the newness of it is contagious. Then, after a while, even though it's still the most important day in our lives, those around us frankly have different priorities. It's hard to deal with at first, but once you get closer to the wedding, the excitement (and stress) will build back up again.
