Okay, I just had an argument with FI...Both of his parents are divorced and remarried. The thing is that his father's side isn't aware that his mother's side is remarried (she's been married for like 6 years). The problem is she doesn't want anyone to tell him...obviously he'll find out come the wedding day but I don't want that to happen in case a problem arises...ya never know. What should I do? I think its FI job to tell his father and to tell his mother its not a big deal. Or should I let it 'slip out' sometime. It really is absolutely ridiculous, I've never heard of such a thing. The biggest kicker is the only person who is going to have a problem with it is 2nd wife of father because she needs to know everything the day before it actually happens. In-laws can be soooo wierd! Any advice? I refuse to let this annoucement spring up the day of the wedding.

Let him handle it...don't get involved in their family issues. I think it will come back to nite you in the a$$. But make sure he does it before your BIG DAY!

I agree 100%-I dont think its your place to break this news to his father-let him handle it.
