Need to vent!!!

Everything regarding my planning has been going pretty smoothly and I am 10 days away from getting married. Yesterday I was suppose to have my final fitting and when I got there I saw an ambulance and two police cars. The seamstress fainted and needed to be rushed to the hospital so it got cancelled and I rescheduled for this Friday. I am not too worried about that. She has my dress finished so it is pretty much a matter of just trying it on. Then today I find out where I booked my hair at the Christopher Jon Salon the lady Amy I scheduled for a haircut for this Saturday and for my wedding day Updo is out because of a family emergency. They left a message on my machine. Her mother is dying and I know it is terrible so its possible she won't be there for my wedding day next Saturday. The bridal consultant there is not too pleasant to deal with and she says not too worry but this is already payed for. She says another girl there can do my hair if she is not there and they'll find other people to cover. I want it in writing. I also already paid for my trial with Amy and now if someone else does my hair I hope it comes out just as good. I wish this didn't have to happen I know things could be worse but I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

Go in for another trail with this other girl, just in case your booked hairdresser cannot make it. How awful for her that her Mom is so sick.
Some things, no matter how organized we are, no matter how hard we plan, are out of our control. Try to take a breather for a few hours and go see a funny movie. Take your mind off all the plans. That usually helps me.

I had a few last minute things go ways I didnt want them to the week of my wedding. You are not the only one and know that no matter how much planning you do, these things do happen. I would try to find someone else for the hair. I do understand how time consuming it is to go for another trial right before your wedding. Just try to hang in there and things will work out! I had Michelle do my hair for my reunion last year. I am not sure if she is still there but I think she did a great job.
